Longevity of staff is important because friendships are formed between staff and residents.  Getting to know our residents personally helps us in determining their habits and notice any changes in health. In addition, residents who develop trust with staff are willing to accept assistance when they need it.

Low employee turnover offers consistency and therefore, quality of care is delivered.
Sentinel Pointe employs 90 staff members.  (Office Management, Dining Staff, Housekeeping, Health & Wellness, Maintenance, Security, Activities and Marketing.)  Many employees have been with Sentinel Pointe for numerous years (26, 23, 21, 20, 18, 14, 12, 11…and the list goes on!)  The average length of employment for 90 staff members is 5.7 years.  The management team average (9 employees) is 13.7 years!  We are committed to one another and the residents we serve!
